Theatre in the time of Lock Down - Creation Theatre’s The Tempest Live, Interactive and in your Living Room!

Re-worked for the digital stage, The Tempest Live was created two weeks after lockdown, made in isolation for people in isolation. Creation Theatre have been playing an integral part in the development of new ways to connect and entertain while theatres and public performance spaces remain closed to the public. The ambitious production featured a seven strong cast and incorporated pre-filmed scenes, virtual backgrounds and projections. Creation Theatre’s vital work is also helping to keep professional actors and creatives in paid work during uncertain times. The initial 6 live performances across three days extended to 20 SOLD OUT performances and audiences dialled in via Zoom from over 15 countries. The production was a huge critical and commercial success.
